Parcels London–Lithuania: door-to-door collection and a weekly schedule
How to prepare for a parcel collection in London: what details to provide, how to pack your items and when Krovanta’s main run to Lithuania leaves.

A London–Lithuania parcel collection runs most smoothly when the addresses, number of packages, dimensions, weight and access conditions are clear in advance. Krovanta collects parcels not just in London but across the UK, and the main run to Lithuania leaves on Thursday.
If a parcel needs collecting in London and delivering to Lithuania, most hitches happen before collection: an inaccurate address, an unclear weight, no mention of the floor or lift, unsuitable packaging or recipient details provided at the last minute. The more precisely you give us this information in advance, the easier it is to plan collection and delivery.
For a London collection, the postcode isn't the only thing that matters
In your enquiry, give the full collection address, postcode, contact number and exactly where the parcel is. If it's a block of flats, tell us the floor and whether there's a lift. If the parcel is collected from business premises, give the opening hours and whether the driver needs to sign in at reception or security.
Access matters for larger items too. A sofa on the third floor with no lift, a 30 kg box at the front door and a pallet in a commercial warehouse are three different collection scenarios. If the parcel is large or non-standard, send photos before the collection is confirmed.
Weigh and measure your parcel before booking
A description like “two boxes” isn't enough. We need at least approximate dimensions and weight for each package. This is especially important if the boxes are heavy, long or can't be safely lifted by one person.
If you're sending furniture, a bike, a TV or another awkwardly shaped item, give its external dimensions after packing. What matters for transport planning is the final package, not the product size in the manufacturer's catalogue.
Pack so it withstands more than just the collection
Your parcel doesn't just travel from your door to the van. It has to withstand the whole transport chain. Boxes must be sturdy, taped along every opening seam, and items inside shouldn't move freely.
Pack fragile items separately and protect the corners. If you're sending several boxes, number them, for example 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. It's a simple way to reduce confusion at collection and delivery.
If you're unsure whether a particular item can be shipped, it's better to ask before collection. In a separate guide we cover what you can and can't ship from the UK to Lithuania.
Krovanta collects beyond London
Although this article is about London, Krovanta collects parcels and suitable freight anywhere in the United Kingdom. So if some of your items are in London and another load is with a supplier in another UK city, give us both addresses straight away – then we can assess an overall logistics plan.
For commercial or larger freight, we can also collect goods directly from a supplier, manufacturer or warehouse and, if needed, use the UK warehouse for consolidation.
When parcels leave the UK
Krovanta's main UK→LT run leaves on Thursday. Collections are planned before the main departure according to the route and booking addresses. Freight usually reaches Lithuania at the weekend and deliveries to recipients start on Monday.
That doesn't mean every parcel has to be collected on Thursday. The collection time depends on your London address and the week's route. If there's a specific date when you'll be at home, it's best to tell us at the start of your booking.
Delivery in Lithuania also needs accurate details
Give the recipient's full address, phone number and, if relevant, information about access to the yard, the floor or a lift. For larger freight, it's important to know in advance whether a larger vehicle can reach the address.
If the main lorry can't reach the final address, in some cases a smaller vehicle can be planned for the last leg. It's better to identify this need before departure rather than once the freight is already in Lithuania.
A personal parcel and commercial goods aren't the same
If you're shipping goods for sale, a supplier order or other commercial freight, the customs paperwork differs from simply moving personal belongings. Commercial goods need an invoice, an accurate description, the value and the classification data customs require.
For an additional fee, Krovanta can help arrange UK export and LT import declarations. If the shipment is commercial, tell us when you book the collection.
What to send when booking a London–Lithuania parcel
To plan the collection without extra back-and-forth, send us: the collection and delivery addresses with postcodes, contact phone numbers, number of packages, dimensions, weight and preferred collection date. For larger or non-standard items, add photos.
If you want to book a parcel from anywhere in the UK, not just London, you'll find the key information on our parcels from England to Lithuania page.
