How we calculate the price of a removal
The price of a removal is driven mainly by the real volume your belongings take up. We use the number of bedrooms only as a starting guide, because two homes of the same size can have very different amounts of stuff. Dismantled furniture and compactly packed boxes usually take up less space than assembled furniture.
In the calculator, we set the starting volume as follows:
- 1 bedroom – from 3 m³, provisionally from £510;
- 2 bedrooms – from 5 m³, provisionally from £700;
- 3 bedrooms – from 7 m³, provisionally from £910;
- 4+ bedrooms – from 11 m³, provisionally from £1,100.
A UK “1 bedroom” means a home with one bedroom and a living room / kitchen area. The figures above aren't a fixed volume for that kind of home – they're just the calculator's starting point. Adjust the exact volume to the real amount of belongings. For large removals the price per cubic metre gradually falls, reaching £90/m³ from 20 m³. What determines the final price of a removal
- The main guide is real volume. What matters most for the price is how much space your belongings take up in the vehicle. Very heavy, large or non-standard items may be assessed individually.
- Distance and addresses. Collection in and around London is usually more convenient than in more remote regions; in Lithuania we deliver nationwide.
- Floor and carrying. If furniture has to be carried down from a fifth floor with no lift, agree this in advance — the price won't change on the day.
- Season. Summer and the run-up to the holidays are peak times; at quieter times dates are more flexible.
- Additional services. Packing, dismantling, temporary storage. You can leave your belongings at our Kaunas warehouse for up to a week free of charge — handy if your new home isn't ready yet.

- Dismantle furniture — a dismantled bed takes up half the space.
- Pack compactly — rigid boxes of the same size stack without gaps; put soft items in vacuum bags.
